Who you are contracting with

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we dispatch the goods and send you a confirmation, not when you pay. Until then we may decline the order for any reason, including stock, suspected fraud, or the destination restrictions set out in our research-use policy.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at the standard rate. Orders shipped outside the UK are zero-rated for UK VAT, but any import duty or tax at the destination border is payable by you.

Pricing errors

If a product is listed at a materially incorrect price we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund. We will not simply ship at the wrong price or silently cancel.

Stock and substitution

Stock figures are updated as orders are placed but can lag during high demand. If an item turns out to be unavailable we will tell you and refund that line. We never substitute a different compound, a different fill size, or a different lot without asking you first.

Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for any loss arising from use of the material, which is supplied for research only and entirely at your own risk, or for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of the terms implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in these terms affects the statutory rights of a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Complaints and disputes

Email us first. Most things are settled in a single reply. If we cannot resolve it between us and you bought as a consumer, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme, and we will tell you which one applies at the time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you keep the right to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
